We started this restaurant on Friday 24th March 2019 after being asked by the St Leonards Bowling Club to lease there kitchen. I got the approach on the afternoon of Tuesday 21st. The business proposal was written in 2 hours and accepted 1 hour later. Kanitha, Jeab and I then set forth to plan and write a menu, source supplies and have them on site, register the business and get all the necessary permits as well as promote our opening night. Then we had to get too hand making our entree’s and prepping all the ingredi- ents. All completed in 3 days.

One hour before opening we had around 50 people booked in to dine and based on what the bowling club kitchen had done in the past, we thought that was a good start. Well 50 people booked but we ended up with many more walk ins that we didn’t expect and most definitely didn’t want to turn away. So with 2 woks, 1 experienced cook and 1 learning plus 3 volunteers all working their butts off, we got it done! but not until some time after midnight. What an eye opener. Night 2, pretty much the same thing but with slightly less chaos.


3+ years on and our Kitchen now has a few more woks and a lot more people Everyone knows what to do and how to do it well. We generally get entrĂ©e’s out in 10-15 min of orders and mains within 20-25 min of “start up”. We have built our reputation on fresh, quality, tasty Thai food and great “old fashioned ser- vice”. We make our own “in house” sauces and use only the freshest protein and produce, so you are guar- anteed quality from Jeab and Kanitha. (Both ladies are from the North East of Thailand)


We have had the privilege of catering for groups such as the local CFA & SES, Men’s Shed, Sporting Clubs, Birthdays, Social Clubs and even a couple of weddings. St Leonards Bowling Club have continued to wel- come and support us through our journey but it is you, the general public both new to us as well as our re- turn cliental that are why we do what we do. In our first full year of operation we served more than 18,800 hand made entree’s, 2,490 curries, 5,650 mains, 980 fried rice & 480 kids meals.
In 2022 those numbers have increased to 25,800 entrees, 4923 curries, 7709 mains, 1562 fried rice & 758 kids meals. Our dine in guests for 2022 exceeded 6000 which was up from 2971 the previous year Please enjoy your time with us and remember to show your appreciation to our staff through the TIP JAR and leave positive comments on our Facebook page.
